Had the pleasure of tripping out on oblivion quartz for the first time the other night. Not sure how common it is but I wanted to give a shout out (and a hug) to whoever wrote this little piece of adventure. There were a couple more I cropped out and a duplicate or two, but I basically just had a stretch of them over the course of 1 glance. Super fun for a first experience and not even knowing what I was getting into. I hope some of you enjoy it as much as I did.

>tone omino
You will speak ominously on your next message.
>'Oblivion...
You ominously say, "Oblivion..."
>get qua
You remove a shard of oblivion quartz from in your sack.
>
You shift your weight.
>l at qua
The shard's surface is irregular, with layer upon layer of crystalline formations with no discernable direction or logic. Its color is a glassy brown that allows you to see into the stone, but its tenebrous tone prevents you from seeing through it. As you gaze into the dark and reflective depths of the alien gem, you find yourself drawn to the curious and strangely beckoning mysteries within.
>
You gaze into the depths of the oblivion quartz, your fascination growing into more than idle curiosity, quickly becoming an unnaturally driving need! In the next heartbeat, a cloud of nausea bursts from the stone's heart, quickly wrapping writhing tendrils of sickness around your face like a vaporous octopus! As your insides churn and heave, you claw desperately at your face and throat, trying to tear the terrifying thing away, but your hands pass right through it. As the tendrils tighten, you feel your breathing passages close and the air being sucked out of your chest.
S>grin
You are still stunned.
Ososis grins at you.
S>
You gasp for air, but you find nothing to ease your burning lungs. Your mouth opens repeatedly, desperately seeking something, anything, to stave off the inevitable onslaught of oblivion.
S>
You start to breathe easier.
>
Without warning, a thin hum pierces the air, its intense pitch making your ears throb and your teeth ache. It rapidly gains volume and threatens to rupture your eardrums if you don't quickly find a way to block its assault on your hearing.
You fall to your knees, cradling your head in your arms. Suddenly, the maddening shriek stops, leaving echoes of its cruel tone still reverberating in your mind. With a sigh of relief, you make a mental effort to relax the fierce grimace contorting your facial muscles.

During a casual perusal of the oblivion quartz you hold, a pinpoint of light within its depths catches your eye. It is no more than a faint flicker, however, how could it be imprisoned inside the drab stone? It was not just a reflection either; at least it didn't seem to be. Was it?

As you examine the quartz more closely, you notice the horrifying fact that the thing has attached itself to your hand. Slowly, the rough, rocky material transcends its boundaries and spreads across your palm. As it expands, it gains momentum, and as your skin is transformed, pain erupts in an excruciating blossom.

You try to drop the cursed thing, but quickly discover the fact that once transmuted, the affected appendage is frozen and unresponsive -- useless -- just like stone.

A band of searing pain crosses your chest, making the attempt to catch your breath an agony. You feel a terrifying prickle as the invasive scourge reaches your neck and works its way upward. Your throat closes and breathing is no longer within your ability.

Your eyesight fades as you feel the darkness overtake you.

Forced to stance offensive.

You awake from a dream startled. You are lying down.
Roundtime: 3 sec.

You suddenly realize you are staring at the oblivion quartz as if you are hypnotized. At the same moment, a prickling sensation becomes noticeable, irritating every inch of skin on your body with a nagging, burning itch.

As you study your hands in confusion, wondering what could be causing the discomfort, you see protrusions erupt and quickly grow into long, red-tipped thorns. Where your skin is covered with clothing, you can feel the spikes poking through as they lengthen.

An involuntary gasp of horror breaks from your lips, the utterance of it revealing the presence of the hideous thorns on your face. You watch in stunned terror as the thorns begin to ooze a noxious-smelling green pus.

Beginning in small drips, the stream of vile green liquid quickly grows into streams, collecting around your feet in a pool that smells like rotting flesh. You feel your body begin to shrivel up and sag, your muscles turning to mush and pouring out through the spiny vents.
Abruptly, the nightmare disappears, leaving you gasping for breath at the horrific memory.

Your thoughts slowly come back to you as you find yourself lying on the ground. You must have been sleeping.
P>
You let out a terrified scream as you witness hundreds of creeping spiders erupt from a hole in your chest, their hairy black legs dyed crimson with drops of your blood. The arachnid army quickly begins to spin a web of fine silk around your limbs. As the gossamer strands surround you, they change, becoming a trap of barbed steel wires that cut viciously into your flesh.
SP>
Scap says, "Who killed kisame."
SP>
Scap says, "Lookin at you Ososis."
The feelings of irrational fear and fascination slowly dwindle, and your mind begins to relax from the intense strain of your brief insanity, leaving you trembling faintly from the experience.
P>
Ososis pulls you to your feet.
>
Scap says, "You know what they say never accept gifts from strangers or ososis."
>
Ososis dusts you off.
>exhale
You slowly and deliberately empty your filled lungs.
>put qua in sac
You put a shard of oblivion quartz in your sack.
You offer your sack to Ososis, who has 30 seconds to accept the offer. Click CANCEL to prematurely cancel the offer.
>
Ososis has accepted your offer and is now holding a large sack.
>tone shak
>
You will speak shakily on your next message.
>'I... I ha... I have to go

You shakily say, "I... I ha... I have to go."

[Town Square, Southwest]

And a couple of the third person angles...

Kisame gasps and begins choking, while at the same time staring fixedly at his hands with a horrified expression. As color drains completely out of his face, his arms fall limply to his side and muffled sobs wrack him with miserable shudders. Finally, Kisame appears to gain control of himself, though he still looks pale and haggard.

Kisame suddenly falls silent as all the color drains from his face, and his eyes slowly roll back into his head. As Kisame continues to stare straight ahead with blank, white eyes, he begins to shudder like a limp corpse hanging and blowing in the wind. Finally, he seems to overcome the appalling seizure, his eyes returning to normal although he remains pale as a ghost.

Kisame looses a terrified scream, his head thrashing from side to side as he claws frantically at his chest!"

Yeah it is neat. I imagine the person who created that script is long gone though.

I looked at a quartz (that quartz) 5 times and only got to the first step of tendrils of sickness. Maybe I am building a tolerance, or perhaps like the rose they take into account some personal attributes.
