What does a 97(98?) perfect stats halfling wizard go for?

Same level dark elf sorcerer go for?

Does gear really make a big difference, or better to liquidate and sell the silver?

Capped sorc just sold for 500. I'd say probably 400-450 range depending on gear. Same with the wizard.

Lots of good info and offers so far, thanks everyone. Here's a followup question. If I capped both chars, what would be the price difference? It's only 2-3 trains to cap each.

2-3 trains is 300k exp. Probably not going to make a huge difference. Easy enough to cap at that point.

I'd say no real difference at all, there's very little (if anything) a level 97 can't do that a 100 can. The value doesn't go up until you get a lot more post cap.

Gear can make a hug difference, typically you will make more money selling significant items separately, but if you don't have a huge amount of items and time is important it's not a real difference.

So I am going to try to convince Chris in billing to open up my accounts briefly just for a day so I can collect contents of lockers/banks and so on. She's done it for me before, here's hoping I can get her to do it again. FYI, these would be account takeovers. Also, the sorc account has a level 33? warrior on it with pretty quality gear and is maxed for level in warrior guild ranks.
