Ok so I'm hanging out waiting to be able to hunt again after a death, and I see this. I removed everything but her actions, and I've left her name out because I generally like her and this is the only dumb thing I've ever seen her do.

Just wanted to see what others thought about this because it drove me nuts.

SomeChick smiles seductively as she blows across her outstretched left hand, scattering the handful of magical dust. The shiny colored bits of dust turn slowly as they disperse in the air all around her, filling the air with glittering light.

SomeChick smiles seductively and tosses her silver hair. She gestures...and she is clothed in a tiny tight silk midnight blue gown, you see revealing slits up the front showing fish net stockings that embrace her long luscious legs!

(SomeChick kicks off her boring ordinary boots and slides into a pair of impossibly high-heeled dark blue open toed sandals.)

(SomeChick clap's her hands together, closing her eyes she spreads her arms wide as slow, sultry music begins to fill your ears. The bass rumble is almost like a heartbeat, low and sensual. You feel the hairs on the back of your neck starting to tingle.)

SomeChick smiles as she looks into your eyes. She winks mischievously and blows a kiss in your direction.

Act abuse. Telling our characters how we feel or what is happening to us is a clear cut violation.

Beyond that, it was creative. The only problem I have is that many characters, especially those of the same sex, would not think her dance seductive at all. They may even find it silly. However, I suppose one could be granted some lenience in this regard due to an attempt to roleplay.

I still hope that after every Act or Smile of putting on or removing equipment, she actually completed the action, and used Act and smile to go into greater detail. If she didn't, and is claiming to wear/not wear clothing or manipulates objects she does not possess, that could also be seen as abuse.

This was probably the most BLAH line of the whole affair. Unless there is only one other person in the room, she would have to do some seductive spin in place, turning on her heel and continuously blowing kisses. Also, several people may not also be looking directly at her. Simply put, your forcing someone's character to be looking you in the eyes.


All in all, its a good attempt at roleplay, and would be far more acceptable I suppose in a smaller, intimate setting where the observers are actively attentive of the event.

Really? It was clear she put some effort into the affair, even if she trampled a couple rules. I have seen people kill others through the use of act, or spit down their throat, or make everyone bow down in fear and awe of themselves, ect with Act and Smile. This isnt TOO bad.

I was in the Caverns last night and some empath was doing a ton load of smiles and acts trying to RP each and every healing action. It didn't wanna make me puke like that display above, but I guess that I found it annoying and therefore kind of ignored it. It wasn't like she just set the stage with a little RP, but she was doing all sorts of things with salve and all.

I always liked the routine that the cleric Misdy had. It was somewhat seductive and all but it wasn't like what Spun said, a peep show in the making.

Now if the above had been a sexy cleric guy.....;)
