Anyone have any input on using a martial stance for a MOC shielded OHE user? Seems that shield riposte, tortoise stance or whirling dervish are the three most viable options. Are any of them worth training in?

I have both tortoise and griffin's voice for stances. I should try dervish sometime maybe the test instance, hmm.

These are the two I use as well. Tortoise is pretty situational for me, and never gets used under normal conditions. It's great for when you're guarding someone though. Guard someone and go into tortoise mode while turtled and it's almost impossible for someone to hit them with attacks that can be blocked by a shield. Griffin's Voice is just dang useful with holler, at least it is at high levels. Probably not quite as much at lower levels.

I have to agree with griffins voice being a staple its so cheap and even one rank is good. Dervish would be a good option too and it compliments shield trample well. I was a shield, blunt, twc build for awhile for this alone.
My warrior uses THW now and has been running griffins voice with rank 3 striking asp stance and I've become very fond of it. I wish you could control which qstrikes are affected by it but having cheap 1 second mstrikes or ambushes available when needed comes in handy in a swarm. Adding shield trample, shield bash and shield charge to this would be very fun.

Dervish rocks at higher MOC, I coupled it with shield strike mastery and...shield up? The one that gives you a boost to shield use for 15 seconds with an offensive shield maneuver. Dervish also works with troll kings arms that are created with the mstrike.
EDIT
It's Shield Forward.

92 THW elf warrior, and I can't imagine using anything other than Griffin's voice. Being able to throw out mess bellows and crys for crowd control while keeping holler up is just too good.
