A friend found this in a locker and doesn't know anything about it. Anyone remember/know anything about these? Apparently rubbing it a lot changes it from twisted to scinitillating, but we're not sure what else, if anything, happens. Not sure if the loresong/anal helps, but here it is. Thanks in advance. I guess its a "smart weapon?"

You sense a faint aura of magic surrounding the warlance. You sense that this is some type of holy item. From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the warlance is as some type of weapon.
It has a bonus of +20 from a normal warlance, and the way it vibrates in tune with your voice tells you that it requires skill in polearms to use effectively. It also has some type of special ability, but you can't tell what yet.
The harmonics generated tell you that the warlance has been infused with a dark substance and has been sanctified for use by a Cleric or Paladin in the fight against the undead.
After a careful inspection you determine that a twisted white warlance requires skill in polearms to use effectively. It appears to be a modified lance.

Suddenly, the air around your fingers begins to swirl ominously and you deftly pull your left hand away before something terrible happens to it. The quiet humming ceases immediately.
