Curious, what is the benefit of taking over an act rather then just giving the points?

These are close to being able to pad 9x armor, but need 2 more months.

Also you don't have to hand your item over to someone and wait for response, you get to handle everything. Especially if you plan on using the points for two different jobs it makes it much easier.
