I'm betting this defusion service becomes available in the future for less concurrent with rotflares, like it'll be 100k bloodscript or something. It is also possible Wyrom makes my day and makes rot compatible with fusion. I actually won rotflares once in the past and had to sell my slot because of this reason. So for this price I don't need to be the first person to defusion. Plus Q4 auction coming up.

Maybe it will, but considering the other items in the jackpot pool, I wouldn't necessarily count on it. You don't see coraesine around very often, nor self-mana range items. It very well could be a service that Wyrom keeps super limited. It's the same reason why undead bane is so pricey. This could easy end up being another 625k (like undead bane) scrip service, if it's offered at all.

I just don't see this being something that he wants many people to take advantage of considering the magnitude of freeing up that script slot.

actually quite a few oraseine items around, I wouldn't be shocked if they've released 20 plus of them total. They are attuned so they don't mind as much releasing those

I posted in the fusion topic about 3 days before EG started that a defusion service would be a good idea. Coase said "Hadn't thought about that yet, but its a good idea." And that certificate was made and tossed in. That there was only one such option at EG I think was nothing more than a function of the time involved since the idea was broached. The defusion service itself also lowers the overall power of an item, to perhaps later be increased, but you can't look at what comes later really. So I don't see them heavily restricting it. I will be very surprised if it isn't on the menu at the next duskruin.

Of course I could be wrong, so I'm taking the risk, but if I bought it now without an option for necroflares I would also be taking a risk.
