Flaring Types sold at EG

There's some ammo for sale at EG. Of the flare types sold at EG, are there any distinct advantages? I heard mechanical flares will activate at the location you hit, so if you aim eye, hit them in the eye (and they somehow survive) and the flare activates it will do damage to the eye also?

Are the disintegrate or disruption flares particularly powerful?

Also, is the ammo for sale at EG 4x or 0x? If they're 0x, can mechanical flaring ammo take an e-blade?
