A weapon can't have two types of bane. It's either weighting or flares.

allen missed your post before I spirited off to IMT to have a friendly bard sing to the maul. Here is what we learned:

The first thing that strikes you about the maul is the weight, which is about 4 pounds. In your best estimation, it's worth about 150,000 silvers. You can also tell that the vultite maul is predominantly crafted of vultite.

You sense a faint aura of magic surrounding the maul. From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the maul is as some type of weapon. A sense of deep seated hatred clings to the vultite maul, as if it had been crafted with a specific purpose.

It has a bonus of +20 from a normal maul, and the way it vibrates in tune with your voice tells you that it requires skill in twohanded weapons to use effectively. It also has some type of special ability, but you can't tell what yet. This vultite maul seems to be the bane of Grimswarm raiders.

The harmonics generated tell you that the maul has been infused with the power of a fire elemental.
This vultite maul flares with the power of elemental fire when employed against Grimswarm raiders.

Ulaahn assessed the maul 3 times, but didn't note any weighting.

When I bought this weapon from a friend, he claimed it had weighting *and* flares. Oh, well.

How much is it worth?

No worries. I honestly wouldn't be able to give you an accurate appraisal. I think it'd be worth a few million but I'm sure someone can chime in who has more knowledge of this type of item.

Depends. From that loresong, it might have both regular fire flares AND bane flares. That would be double fire flares against grimswarm. So I'd try it out against some grimswarm and see if it ever does a double flare. (Most flares will be single, but if it can do double the flares will sometimes go off at the same time.) Double fire flares against grimswarm are valuable because they can cause quadruple fire flares against grimswarm trolls. But not all weapons with that description in the loresong will do that.

It has a nice show and mauls are popular, so cool weapon either way.
