Looking to for someone who has specifically done an invar +17 to +22 enchant. Invar starts at +2 but is not magic and can be e-bladed despite being +2. Is it like the other half enchant metals once enchanted to +17, and require a major enchant slot to bring to +22, or can it be done with a normal 3x to 4x project?

It requires a major enchant slot for +17-22

Apparently anything inbetween an enchant is considered an enchant level above; which is just silly. For instance Imflass is considered 3x for enchanting purposes and anything else that would benefit your weapon.

Because there is no such thing as half an enchant.

You can always fail your enchant, and then bring the item to -2x, then re-enchant it back up to 4x. This is a viable way of eliminating that pesky bonus. It should only add a few days of time to the project. Though I believe it then becomes blackened or some such, and you'll probably need to get it altered before the description will change.

Or you can buy some +10 invar full plate with a nice show from me for 1m. Problem solved.
