Bounty tasks beyond Bowels?

Just looking ahead, I'm 84... where does Rheteger in WL send capped players? I know if you wear the soulstone he'll send you to the Confluence, yes? Does he send people to Sanctum of Scales? Anywhere else I need to look forward to? Thanks.

You know what the Confluence is, right? It's apparently a nightmare for melee. I hunted Nelemar on Teras after the Bowels.

They're level 89 so you're at the cusp of what I'm wondering - what he's going to start asking you to do after you're too old for Jarls. Just bandits, escorts, gems maybe?

I didn't want to either (I'm a Landing citizen). I'm hoping Sanctum is good enough to keep me on the mainland. I love hunting Nelemar, and Teras isn't all bad. It's just boring most of the time.

Unfortunately, that is the name of the game. I was in the same boat, I hunted bowels until 94 on my bard. I refused to move. If you absolutely don't want to leave, confluence/warcamps are basically your only option for hunting landing and getting bounties/societies tasks.

Do melee people really say the confluence is hard? I think it's a cakewalk. As a maul wielding warrior, if you can triplestrike a single target with mstrike you almost always kill everything in one hit (in fact, to this day, I have still never once died in there). If you hit a fire thing, weapon gets hot. Wait a sec for it to cool down. Need to hit a lightning thing? Use a wood weapon. Tons of gems. Easy bounties. It's not that bad.

But...just by having the soulstone amulet on and being ELIGIBLE for confluence bounties, you will still get gem tasks and all that jazz from the adventurer's guild. Heirlooms and herbs are easy in the confluence because there are plenty off offshoot rooms where you rarely, if ever, run into any mobs. I just make sure to kill 5-10 critters total before I leave so that I have enough juice to come in next time.

Of course, with all the elemental invasions in icemule lately, I've been filling up that soulstone like mad.

Although I have managed to avoid being killed so far, I would not call the confluence a cakewalk for a rogue. I don't take on too many critters at once and my trips are sometimes short. It has been a close call a few times. I usually make a nice haul though.
