A fiery portal appeared, an entrance to the office of Oantal, in the ice city's town central. Within folks gathered to hear his words... his demands.
The offer made was five percent of silver from all merchant activity made within the town and in return he would give his protection from invasion, in return he would stop the sky from raining fire, in return he would keep the city's religious relics safe.
Citizens and denizens from other cities questioned his motives, his abilities, and his character. In return he burned and killed. Words and flames were thrown and in between he let details slip.
His desire for the blood jewel... For it he seemed to covet the most.
His plans to return Thurfel's keep to glory with the silvers he took.
Tomorrow the Fire mage returns to hear the answer from the city of ice. Tomorrow we give in to his demands or watch the town and folk burn.
