How Long Wil 'Incredible Amount of Charges" Last?

For armor padding? I've tried to find some info but it's not really forthcoming. I'm just trying to understand before I buy something.

It also depends on your play style and how often you get hit. A pure caster or a careful, hiding ambusher should be getting hit very rarely, and will have that temporary padding last multiple years. A stance dancing warrior who takes a lot of glancing blows will see the temporary padding go away a lot faster.
