PsiNet has moved to a new server. You must download a new copy at http://psinet.dynalias.net before you can link again.
Special thanks to Alana for her help!
Now where's that 'bunker' image at..

Why don't you elaborate on your problems, Leloo and Tara? Mine worked too.
Your mind extends outward in an attempt to link with the PsiNet, but fails.
(Client will attempt reconnection every 5 minutes. You may disable this by typing PSINET UNLINK.

I downloaded it and it just said that it didn't connect.... it was like how it's been the entire time.
But that was then mine is working now so... maybe it's just about waiting?

Make sure you are not logged into the game when you execute the setup file. You should be able to just run it. I did and had zero problems but I know the first time I ever installed psinet I had a character logged in and it didn't work so if that's the case with you try it logged out.

I wasn't logged in when I tried.

Bumping the topic.
Kainen: You have to uninstall the SGE AND the Wizard, then reinstall them both, then reinstall Psinet.
As for those who can't connect, make sure the SGE AND the Wizard are both closed when you install. Also, make sure you can connect to PSINET.DYNALIAS.NET - if you can't, its a bad router between you and me.

I'm having an odd problem since I redownloaded the newer version of psinet... every time I try to log on, the first time I get a message about Debug Mode and how my Debug Mode has now been set to 5... and nothing opens beyond that... however if I try to log on immediately after that, everything opens just fine. Anyone have any clue as to what might be the problem?

Per Jamus, open mode.txt in your PsiNet folder and change the number to 0.

Finally driven to register for PC by this.
I downloaded psinet before but couldn't get it to work, it's working now, and it seems really useful so far, thanks Jamus.
I see people using the chat feature, but can't seem to find the right channel to use. Which one should I set it to?

OOC is the most popular (that I know of), and tune OOC to get there. To clarify: if you simply chat [message], it will chat to your default channel, and tuning to OOC makes it your default channel. Or if that's not what it actually does, it works, and that's good enough for me.
Welcome to the PC! :)

Thanks, this is a great forum, now I can finally reply to all those threads I read. :)
Haven't seen anybody on the OOC channel yet, but I have hope.
Never mind, just saw someone. Now I can finally hear the latest gossip, sweet! ;)
