How do I do it? Its driving me crazy trying to figure out. I booted form the WinXP CD, went into the Recovery bit, but it doesn't like my password for some odd reason.

Why is WinXP such a bitch to reformat from? Win98 was so much easier..

The recovery console is password protected. Sometimes something becomes corrupt in windows and a random admin password is put in place. It's a windows bug. The only way to fix it is to reformat. Fortunately, you don't need to use the recovery console to format. Just some simple commands after booting from the CD. U2U if you want to know any more.
