At what point does it become profitable to do ensorcelling for other? Are you able to do most basic items right at 35? Assuming a normal hunting build, not something tailored just to ensorcelling.

Pretty much at whatever point you can sell it since there is no cost associated (well potions but not all need them and I charge for them so it doesnt cost me).

The most difficult thing is finding an item someone is willing to ensorcell that you can do. At 35 you should be able to do most normal items without much trouble. However if it has weighting or high enchant, you would struggle.

From the consumer perspective, this is where it gets tough. I'm not going to pay 1-2m for a T1 on a weapon that's only worth 100k. In some ways, the high level sorcerers sort of priced lower level sorcerers out of the market by setting an expectation that ensorcell should be expensive.

I found a kind level 35 sorcerer to put a T1 on my 1x UAC gloves so they could still be e-bladeable, and they only charged 500k for that service. Was it worth it? Only for the character in question. Most of the time you will not make back your investment into ensorcell on items. A T5 ensorcell may only add 5-8mil in value to an item (provided the item is not insanely hard to ensorcell) even though it requires 10 weeks of necrotic energy to make a T5 item, and that will cost at least 10mil.

Twilight Hall has a standing offer for low level ensorcells at 750k per week. No one is stopping anyone from selling their low level casts for any amount of money. I believe most people work on their own stuff at lower levels. Pocket sorcerers are a thing, but still not common like pocket wizards because you have to do the hunting.

The norm used to be 1m for a T1. Before that it was around 1.5m. All depends on the Sorcerer. You can get chrisms the same way. Some will charge 35k, some 15k, you can buy them for around 10k now I believe as well.

Thanks for all the feedback. Have a sorcerer at 22 that I want to push in a hope that I may be able to do some ensorcelling to make some silvers. Was curious if most normal equipment was easy to ensorcell at 35 and got that answer.

Thanks again.

Considering it doesn't cost hardly anything to ensorcell, it's pure profit. Just takes time.
