I don't want to say a lot, because it's not my place, but please send Shailya and her Mom your best thoughts.
If you could do that for her and her Mom, that'd be great. Thank you.

Her Mom is going to be alright. Thanks everyone.

...
Ok, I just got to post this. I'm sure it'll make me an asshole but..
Does anyone besides me feel that posting something like this, with no information or background, kinda see it as more of a cry of attention then any actual good?

I don't think it's a great thing to be discreet about because it made you sound like a stupid attention-seeking streetwalker, but it is very nice to hear that someone whom I have never met mother is okay.

As far as I know, you've not met many of the people who post here or are talked about here. Doesn't mean you can't have an opinion or offer some help. Just my two cents though.

This is the stupidest thing anyone has ever posted
Until I know a cause nobody gets my sympathy. For all I know this person and her daughter were trying to get support in skinning snakes alive and them stomping puppy dogs.

Very true. The cause is the issue then, not "I haven't met them before".

Jesus christ.
Her Mom was hit by a car while riding her bike and was dragged until he finally decided to stop his SUV.
She has some broken bones and something wrong with her ligaments. I was concerned and sometimes you can just send someone best wishes without having to know all the bloody details.
I wasn't looking for attention. I was looking for perhaps a prayer or someone to send out good thoughts for a friend of mine and her family who are having a tough time right now.
I'll remember not to ask any one of you to do that again. Apparently some people have to be inconsiderate first.

Ish! That sounds awful. I'm sure glad she's going to be okay. She certainly had my best wishes, whether I knew her or not. :)
You could have said that to begin with instead of sounding so darn obscure. No offense.

37 words, vague, inspires rude responses and looks attention whoreish.

Shailya's Mom was just in a terrible accident involving a prick with an SUV. She was hurt terribly, and your best thoughts and wishes, maybe a prayer, would be great.
Thank you.
32 words, explains the situation, still not all the gory details, gets your point across, and gives people a basis to feel sorry for and or pray for.
Just saying.
(edited because I keep missing one freaking letter.)

What Iqxero said. And Adredrin too. It's kind of like after one of Atheana's tears, we could wait a few days and there would invariably be some post about a friend of hers that was in a car wreck or something, so everyone would be like, "awww."
