Looking for one or the other, or possibly the short sword if it's not in plat. Thanks.

There were three SD OHBs (I believe). The mace is in a black hole and isn't likely to move ever. Of the two spikestars, only one is still around, and it's never moving either.

I don't know the status of any of the daggers (there were....two I think?), but I have my suspicions. If they're where I think they are, they're not going to be easy to pry from his hands. Wish I had more heartening info for you!

They're "neat" weapons but they're not practical for hunting

Just as practical as any other flaring weapon. Not everyone wants or needs a super high enchant weapon. The game is geared around plain 4x stuff.

They're actually less practical, unfortunately. I make it a point to rotate through all of my weapons, but I had to stop using the SD one because it was getting me killed. Having to refill it constantly is tough because it incurs RT for you but not for the target, and every 3 or 4 tries it fails (usually yielding 7 seconds of RT). And if you don't keep it at least partially filled, it's just a 4x weapon that rarely flares. (and then flares for very little)

And remember the flares don't actually cause wounds or stuns. So they're not so much 4x flaring weapons as they are 4x damaged weighted ones.

I adore these weapons so much, but they really don't work past level 70. (even that's pushing it)

So, better than a plain 4x weapon... Just like I said, which is what the game is based around.

That line works in theory, but to wander around with a SD weapon and to never use the wave attack is...a tough sell which completely defeats the purpose of having a SD weapon to begin with. To wield it like a SD weapon effectively makes it worse than a standard 4x weapon at higher levels when hanging out in hard RT can get you killed quickly.

BTW if anyone out there does have one/acquires one and wants to bond with it- you can do it, you just need to make sure that it's empty before you try. (Paladins- you can sanctify it, but it won't ever flare against the undead, and the wave attack won't work against them either)

Yeah, tell me more. I know nothing about that.
