I just got sonic weapons and holy crap, the sonic lance owns. Although I have 6 rt for it. Does air lore help a lot? How many times per train should I invest in it? I want to maximize sonic weapons as much as I can.

If you really want to only focus on air lore 40 ranks is about where you see maximum benefit to cost ratio. As you get closer to cap I know some bards who have 75 for the RT reduction, but flare/double flare wise you'll want 40 ranks.
