That shield may likely be too difficult for standard PC ensorcelling, though a test shouldn't cost anything.

The shield-staff is completely beyond the abilities of a beastmode sorcerer. Take it to the next DR however!

It may very well be the best TD shield, or at least it was prior to DR and ensorcel. It's a great shield.

Better then yours too? That leaves maybe 3 other TD ones that could compete or possibly be better with either more TD or same TD+banshee, for example. SK one (or 2?) are nice too.

So yea, PC ensorcell is impossible as it is on mine with 5 TD less and 2 enchants less.

That shield was one of those white whales you rarely heard about because the owners kept their mouths shut for fear of a nerf. If I needed TD, I'd take it over one of the 10x/2x SK ones, though one of those, or another shield may have gotten a nice bump at new of the DRs. "Not even close" has become a PC meme.

These days I'm enjoying my zelnorn tower instead of the TD shield.

It doesn't need to be 0, mine was super easy when +5 TD, +10 TD too I think. I got stuck at some point either after CCF or Sadie I forget.

I believe that I bought the shield from buck at 6x fusion. Ensorceled first and didn't enchant because at that point did not think they would allow over 50 combined. Then at ccf they allowed it so got it to 8x and 4x td. Got 2 td slots at different duskruins. A lot of work... :)
