My apologies if this has been covered already but a lot has changed while I was away so desperately need a refresher...
The conditionals below are A.) I have the Lumnis B.) I have EXP pass after level 10 C.) I have access to Adventurer's guild passes along with task passes.
With the above in mind how should I maximize my first 30 days? What should I hunt or do? Do we still have EXP nodes? Any key advice?
-Thank you

Make sure to utilize practical application of scientific knowledge and inventive use of common items.
You want as many of your upgraded pulses (e.g. lumnis) to happen on a supernode while holding someones hand. Because the bonuses for those conditions get multiplied by lumnis and group bonus. There is a super node in the thrak trophy room.

This went straight over my head, but I guess I'll figure it out eventually.
My f2p doesn't get lumnis. How are you managing that?

Errr, doesn't that defeat the purpose of F2P?

The main benefit of F2P from what I'm seeing is the versatility and 'anytime' accessibility. If you had 3 days in which you play 30 hours and the rest of the time you are occupied, on vacation, whatever, you can tailor make your leveling/play experience.
I just don't understand for the life of me why Simu is so obssesed with getting people to sub up, which doesn't give them any more money and may in fact push away casual players. Just yesterday, I purchased the 100 dollars for 12500 simucoin deal, I expect to purchase this package every year. That's basically a sub for a year, and I would've purchased more if they would just price their store within some semblance of sanity.
Take Lumnis for example, in order to activate it on a F2P you have to spend 4.50$ each week. That's 18 bucks just on the Lumnis alone per month, not including treasure passes, locker passes, the standard EXP pass, society pass etc. etc. The only reason why someone would price it at this level is, " hee hee hee, they're going to see these are crazy prices! and they'll sub up quick!" No sir, I just won't buy it. BUT I would've bought it had you priced it within some form of normalcy; that is to say, I'm a potential customer who's probably going to end up spending over the 15 bucks a month for the convenience to play the game on my schedule and terms. Now, since these prices are so cartoonishly exorbitant and I realize their true value (the 15 dollar sub), I'm working my payments the other way, that is, for maximum value. So, the way I have it setup currently I expect to pay only 8 or 9 bucks a month which includes 2 other F2P accounts I use as spell up characters for my main.
My advice to Simu is to just normalize their prices with perhaps a minor bump up for the 'convenience' of having a F2P account and re-direct their monetization efforts in terms of fests and quasi cash4items events like DuskRuin to harness some of that secondary cash market. And stop treating F2P like they're second class citizens; they probably will end up contributing more to your coffers in genuine non-in game monetized funds then all the old accounts combined. I can only begin to imagine how many F2Per's got 'hooked' only to get quickly 'unhooked' after gawking at the simustore prices.

They're just not ready to give up the secondary account revenue. Most subscribed players also subscribe a secondary utility account for the sake of having a wizard with enchanting and lots of spells (or something to that effect - empath, cleric, maybe a ranger). If they made F2P more accessible, people would stop paying for secondary subscriptions, and Simu seems very afraid of the consequences to the bottom line in that scenario.

All those little things add up quick though. For my regular sub of 14 and change I am getting my 4 lumnis and yeah it's just a 4 dollar difference but then there is the exp passes and locker passes etc and all those little things add up. If you are buying 4 lumnis a month it just seems cost prohibitive to not get them through the subscription, because then you aren't spending money on locker passes or bank passes or all the tiny things that add up over time. That's just me though.
I understand more flexibility on when you use the lumnis but if you truly are buying 4 a month and you find a way to invest that 6 hours in a week it's more beneficial to spend less on the sub

That's right. The way F2P is setup by Simu, it's not even true F2P + cash shop like in other graphical/free MMOs which is just about all of them nowadays including the mothership WoW, which is heading in that direction. Their cash shop is more like a giant posted note which pops up everytime you buy something, "see! wasn't worth it! should've subbed up!" But as a casual player I just don't see the value in subbing; if I sub up for a year and I go backpacking with the wife in Europe for 3 months, that's a good chunk of the sub that's gone. Rather, I buy a ton of Simucoins and a la carte play/purchase what I need whenever I need it. No fuss, no stress. However, with these ridiculous "gotcha!" prices it's a lose lose for both me and Simu, lose to me because I've blocked myself from certain quality of life improvements in the game, a lose for Simu because of lost revenue which they would've gotten if they didn't make their items so laughably expensive.
On the otherhand, Maerit has a solid point. There is this 'established' population in GS4 who've got all these accounts with all the bells and whistles (premium) and Simu is scared to death in losing these guys. Understandable. But! Realize most of these established multi-accounters are essentially playing the game for free (and then some) and therefore running all these accounts has almost no opportunity cost associated with them(probably the other way around; a net benefit money wise). So, Simu must factor into the store with these types of players built-in to the price, else these players will do what Maerit has suggested. Ultimately, what we can all agree upon however, is that this all creates a massive barrier to entry for genuinely new players who just popped into the game from mudconnector or wherever. It's hard, I really do understand Simu's position in all this, can't really blame them for not making the leap of faith to true F2P with all these known variables.

Or you know you could just stop your subscription when you have a vacation planned.

Not sure if that's sarcasm, but yeah. It's a monthly sub, not an annual sub.

Why did I think there was a 12 month sub for 120 bucks? Another senior moment, at least I remember where my keys are!

do like they used to do back in the old days of World of Warcraft: Hire some Chinese guy to play 24-7 for you.

There's actually a lot of demand for that service in Simu's other game, Dragonrealms. I don't see a lot demand for it in this game; mainly because of trust. Will the guy you hired tell you if he finds a vultite claidhmore in a box? How can you tell?

... if we go by your model then everyone paying for a sub will end up paying a lot more money. No thanks.
But if we were to get back on topic...
Stats: 100 Logic. 90 Discipline.
Day 1: Start in Ta'vaalor. Do bounties. Have someone get herb bounties for you.
Day 1: Do lumnis
Day 1: Buy Lumnis reset.
Day 1: Start second lumnis.
Day 1: Hit Level 10
Level 12: Get +20 logic bonus. You can wear +3 logic bonus at level 12.
Baller status: Get +20 logic bonus from +2 logic bonus. Level 7?
Until 30 days: Do bounties. Exp will vary depending on if you can kill undead.
Bounty Advice:
Do bounty. Get saturated. Get second bounty. Do it while saturated. Turn in the minute mind drops to must rest.
Repeat.
If you can't do a bounty, rest until 50% exp and go back hunting until 100%, all the while waiting for your next bounty.
My latest toon just hit level 31.5 on day 30 with 7 days grinding duskruin. (Duskruin exp is super low, even saturated.) You can probably hit 35 if you are super efficient with bounties. But hunting gets a bit tougher around 30-35 with cmans and spells coming around full force on monsters.

Eh? Why would you need to hire someone when everyone scripts 24/7. GMs give 0 shits about scripting.

Huh, forgot about scripting. That's great advice in your other post, thank you. So, after level 10 I should pretty much only do bounties until my 30 days is over? Also, is there a level minimum on wearing enhancives or can you equip a +20 LOG enhancive right off the bat?

You could theoretically get +2 logic bonus on... shield/armor/helm/greave/leg greave/neck/weapon. +14 at level 1?
For jewelry, +1 logic bonus is level 2 and +2 logic bonus is level 7.
A lot of overpriced simustore item.
I had to login as my f2p to see it. I guess that makes sense.
I may start another f2p or two, and I think I'll pretty gladly pay for one or two lumnises on each one to get them started.

For the first 30 days I'll buy the Lumnis every week, should get me close to 30th level by the end of the 30 days.

How do I even use this thing?
>glance
You glance down to see an engraved Lumnis token in your right hand and nothing in your left hand.
>anal my tok
You analyze your Lumnis token and sense that there is no recorded information on that item. It may or may not be able to be worked on by a merchant alterer.
You get no sense of whether or not the token may be further lightened.
>inspect my toke
Inspecting that may not be a sound idea.
Oh, there we go:
sJ>look my tok
This delightfully colorful token is very eye-catching.
