Is anyone currently playing the Nioh Beta, or played the previous one? I really like the game. It's basically Dark Souls meets Onimusha.

This current beta runs from now until the 8th of September. There are two main areas with bosses available, beating each of them gives you free DLC rewards for the full game. There is also a lot of side content as well, but it is significantly more difficult than the base campaign.
PS4 only.

Nioh is out now. Sitting at an 87 on metacritic. Fantastic game.

I might check this out if I end up buying a PS4 for the Berserk game. Looks good though.

This game was fun for a while but it suffers from the same problem as the rest of the Souls type games - they take a game that could be really fun and then add annoying BS to ramp up the "difficulty" without having to actually find interesting ways to do it.
"Okay, so in this stage we'll have them fight the same enemy types again, but this time there will be EVEN MORE instant death holes in the ground! Great work team, it only took four minutes to plan this one!"

I think Bloodborne is the only Souls-type game where no death I ever suffered felt cheap. (It also happens to be my favorite, along with Salt & Sanctuary.)
Onimusha... one of my favorite series. Does it really play as well as Onimusha?
