Could someone explain exactly how these work.

People say it's like lummis. does it go on top of lumnis or is it separate just a quick explanation for someone who doesn't know much about them

They are just like an RPA. You get a multiple of your base line exp (independent of any gift boost). So if you normally get 30, the RPA adds (if 4x) another 120 exp per pulse. If you were on gift, you would get 3x the base also, so another +90.

Edit to add. Unlike gift they are based on total exp gained from bucket and not time. So you don't have to worry about rushing to stay saturated all the time.
