69 points dammit!

Bonds wins because his amazing "unknown" cream gives him a huge edge

Traditionally, home run hitters are large, powerful individuals (except for Roberto Clemente and Cal Ripken) and Barry Bonds recently became exceedingly large and powerful, prompting speculation from people with too much time on their hands that he had taken steroids.
Recently, a series of grand jury testimonies were released to the public (which sounds about as illegal as it probably is) that revealed Barry Bonds' admission that he had unknowingly taken steroids in 2003. The interesting thing (to me) is this: Bonds set the home run record for a season in 2001, and his highest average in recent years was 2002.
A number of fuddy-duddies want an asterisk placed in the record books and/or on Bonds' Hall of Fame plaque when he breaks the record for most home runs in a career. He's pretty much guaranteed to break it within a couple years barring something catastrophic; being in a plane crash, falling off a horse, something big.

This concludes the straight-ification of Snapp segment. :)

This is the second time I've picked against Wezas and Hulkein. I'm hoping for the sweep this time, but I get the feeling the Browns will win by 20 points and the Giants will give up the game late. :(

Well these picks are funny because I handicap for a living.

To be honest if I was going to make a play on this game it I would put a unit on the packers getting 7 but I'd rather not touch this game. This has become a pretty nice rivarly, Mcnabb has finally hit what seems to be the 5 year maturity of a westcoast QB, and TO is a fukin freak even though I hate him. Should be a good game to watch none the less.

the only reason the game is getting ANY hype is because of the 4th and 26 from last years playoff game where the eagles ended up winning on a prayer. the packers havent been able to put it together this year. their defense is soft with the new coordinater in. unless the eagles are flat(again) it shouldnt be much of a game.

That always makes me laugh. Generally you always hate the asshole on the other team, but when he's on your team you love him. I get a kick out of TO, although before he moved to the Eagles I thought he was an asshole.

It brings me back to a conversation I had with a friend. We were talking about hockey and he was talking about how much he hated Matt Barnaby. I was like, I hate him too..... but if he was a Philadelphia Flyer, I wouldn't.

You hate the assholes, but when they are on your team they are the best.

Oh, if you're picking with the spread then I can see taking the Packers, but this is straight up.

One tidbit you probably know, in every NFC game this year the Eagles have won by 10 or more points. =)

I picked the packers mainly because I dislike the eagles, but I wouldn't have picked green bay if I didn't think they had a chance of winning. The only time I would do that is picking anyone whose not the patriots. Green Bay is riding a lot of momentum having won 6 straight to go from 1-4 to the top of the NFC North and I think have a more at stake than the Eagles.

Bear Down, Chicago Bears
Make every play clear the way to victory!
Bear Down, Chicago Bears
Put up a fight with a might so fearlessly!

We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation,
With your T formation.

Bear Down, Chicago Bears.
And let them know why you're wearing the crown.

You're the pride and joy,
Of all Illinois.

Chicago Bears, Bear Down!

It's amazing how well this team can do when we have a quarterback who actually knows how to throw a football. This D is fearsome, and we've got all our playmakers signed up through at least 2008. Look out!

Ouch so much for my theory about the packers winning.
