Hand of Tonis (505) has been updated!

After training in 20 ranks of Elemental Lore, Air, Hand of Tonis becomes a bolt spell if cast from a stance above guarded. Ranks over 20 increases the Damage Factor (DF) of the spell's bolting capabilities.

Call Wind (912) has been updated!

Training in Elemental Lore, Air increases the chance of forming a vortex starting at 2% chance at 5 ranks, with the maximum being 30% chance at 200 ranks (summation*2). These vorteces will last between 6 and 8 rounds, where each round is between 5 and 10 seconds. On each round, the vortex will target a single random foe that had been hit by the original cast of Call Wind, and may cause a loss of stance, as well as Roundtime.

You can still use it to stun if you're in guarded stance. So it's a dual usage spell.

and its only bolt if you have at least 20 ranks of air lore


and i got several vortexs hunting today, and it was a godsend when i was up against 3 supplicants, the way the new MOC works, i only wish it happened more often.

50 ranks of Air lore, showing call wind and hand of tonis. The gremlocks are older than Eiderfleur so keep that in mind.

The northwestern tunnel also appears to be more brightly lit than the tunnel here or in the other directions. You also see a windy vortex, the purple Eiderfleur disk and a gremlock that appears stunned.

Sort of off topic, but I have to ask. Eiderfleur, how do you get that: Cast Round Time in effect: Setting stance to guarded.

Is that a feature of the Client you are using, or is it mearly a setting in GS I don't know about.

I tried to setup a script like you are using to cast at creatures, but it won't let me enter commands that fast. What am I doing wrong?

Macro or just type fast. I get that message in the wizard all the time. Anytime you try and change stance to defensive while in cast RT you're gonna get that message.

3 seconds is a long time in combat.
