In the skill of forging - crafting, you are a master with 500 ranks.
In the skill of forging - one handed edged, you are a master with 500 ranks.
In the skill of forging - one handed blunt, you are a master with 500 ranks.
In the skill of forging - two handed weapons, you are a master with 500 ranks.
In the skill of forging - pole arms, you are a master with 500 ranks.
In the skill of forging - brawling weapons, you are a master with 500 ranks.
Couldn't help but post this - just got the last rank in Brawling weapons now (I was totally expecting the last rank to take all week, but got the 499th and 500th both today.)
I suppose the real miracle (or insanity) is I did it without once using a script.
Guess I should consider taking commissions now.

Congrats. I am working on 499 of brawling as we speak, hope it will pop off soon and I will have similar post.
What do you mean without using a script though? You didn't really type in every step did you? Just seems like pouring salt on an already angry wound.

yeah some people did alchemy like this, too. I think most of them burned out and quit soon after.

You've added value to your character for when you sell it, at least!

I do mean I didn't use any scripts.
I did have some macros/alias for cutting up the bronze bars, though the other commands I just typed in once I had all the materials in my cloak.
It's not too bad, as it was easy to cycle back to previous commands in the command history.
I don't really plan on selling the character, either - just wanted to be able to have him make his own perfect maul and it kinda spiraled from there to Master in all of the weapon types.

That's a lot of forging, grats.

Well tip of the hat to you sir.
I just now hit 500 in brawling! So pardon me as I jump on your happy bandwagon. No more bronze for this Giantman! I made my own scripts as I don't have lich, but I don't think I would have mastered ALL styles if I didn't script most of the learning. We all choose levels of involvement, and you have truly earned the title of master artisan (which I know TECHNICALLY you earned 2 weapon styles ago)

Ha - thanks!
Perhaps some of my good luck rubbed off! Congrats to you, too! The Forging gods smile on us.
I think I may dive right back in, though, and try to make a few perfect weapons - I have a few Gifts of Eonak built up.

I love Eonake vising. If you are all prepared and quick you can get 12 in a session. What I do is forge a few different things to round out my 12. Maybe a couple vultites, a good many steels. Trying to get 12 vultites to do a gift is a headache, and if I have multiple projects i am more likely to hit s couple instead of double or triple of one. Also, if you are looking to burn through a backlog of gifts, mauls and lances (player shops for the glyphs) are only ONE cycle! Lance tip is the smallest bit of forging, and a maul is basically a rough slab on a stick, so it makes sense.
Vultite maul=9 minutes
Steel falchion= 15 minutes
But for vultite maul you are probably finishing an and vising them as well (vultite maul sells for 20k at pawn, vultite heads sell for like 2k)

So far I've only done mithril forging - I figure it's a light metal and easy to PC enchant, so not that hard to bring it up to 4x on-par with vultite. The only annoying thing is that my Wizard is only L22 and can't enchant - haven't been able to muster the effort to hunt her up to L25.
I have a bunch of maul glyphs in my locker still, so may do that.
However, I have a potential concept for a warmage that uses a Hammer of Kai .... so perhaps a mithril hammer of Kai is in order as my first project.

You may want to consider NOT enchanting it... I know a handful of my characters can eblade up to 2x items... so having a 6x flaring weapon may be worth it if you're willing to look for eblades.

Yeah - the whole reason I was thinking of going for a perfect mithril for the warmage was after reading your guide over and over. Figured it'd be the best option!
Now I just have to decide on proper stat placement for a Half-Krolvin, though considering it'll probably take me the week to forge the perfect I have time to hem and haw over that.
