Illusions...

Is it typical when starting Illusion training that it takes forever on a speed task? After quite some time I've managed to complete two reps. I expected it to take a while, so just wondering if I am having terrible luck or if it is just challenging in the beginning.

Aside from that, are demons worth using? I don't see them too often about.

back in the day we'd get wizards to haste us for it. GSWiki has a page on illusions and indicate factors related to success include aura, wisdom, discipline, intuition, level, perception, ranks in illusions and the illusions difficulty. So, might consider investing in some enhancives or using some while practicing speed reps.

Thanks for the tip, didn't think to look at the wiki.

Aggravating that those are the factors considering I have the following:

Aura 93(26)
Wis 95 (22)
Dis 80 (10)
Int 62 (6)
And am 1x in perception - 23 ranks. Obviously not perfect but not sure what would be expected when first learning them

Since posting I managed to get a few reps so I will just continue to annoy those resting in TSC with my practicing...
