I've never had that happen. Only after quite a few dates do I ever let the girl I am with pay for dinner or anything. I guess I am old fashioned. I am the open the door, walk on the street side of the walkway, pull out her chair, etc. type. I'm to charming for a girl to just give me a kiss on the cheek. :smug:

So this goes back to the argument of men bitching about women who only want them for their money but secretly loving it as the use of capital is tied directly to the expectation of sex in our society.

Sorry, I just couldn't date a guy who thinks he's gonna get some simply because he spent some money. IMO that does lower a woman to the station of a whore. Now, impress me with something other than your wallet, and we might get somewhere, and I might even pay you afterward :)

Yep, it' all how you look at it. You can spend the time and money on a couple dates to possibly get turned down, or you can spend the equivalent money and less time to get a sure thing.

Sure, you're not going to bring her home to meet mom, but that's not always the point, is it?

So what are some prices people have been quoted, for those of you who know or "have heard?"
