I started a little one recently, destined to be reallocated as a monk. I already roleplay her as a monk and to stay as close to character as possible, I made her a warrior trained like this:

(at level 7), your skill bonuses and ranks are:
Skill Bonus Rank
-------------------------------------------------------------
Two Weapon Combat : 74 [16]
Armor Use : 58 [12]
Combat Maneuvers : 74 [16]
Edged Weapons : 74 [16]
Climbing : 25 [5]
Multi-Opponent Combat : 25 [5]
Perception : 35 [7]
Ambush : 5 [1]
Physical Training : 40 [8]
First Aid : 30 [6]
Brawling : 74 [16]

My idea was to make her swing two brawling weapons. Imagine my dismay when I saw it didn't work. I re-read the official Simu documentation on two weapon combat, no where does it mention weapon limitations.

Does anyone know why we can't swing two brawling weapons? What do you guys suggest I swing in my other hand that would be the most IC? I currently swing a fist-scythe and a short sword but maybe you guys have better ideas.

(by the way I also tried katars. They are brawling weapons but since OHE is required I was hoping it would let me use two of them. Unfortunately it doesn't.)

*nod* One of my rogues used to be a 2-weapon using brawler (a boxer trope). Assist, as I am sure something is amiss there.

I'll try again with two brawling weapons of various kinds and I'll post my results.

Ok you're all going to call my crazy but I swear it didn't work a couple levels ago. Now I can use two fist-scythes, even two katars! It must have something to do with how high your skill is... I don't know but I'm not crazy!
