Raspberry Zinfandel appreciation post!

Never heard of raspberry zin. Being a huge Shiraz fan it really opposite of the spectrum. I’d give it a shot though.

I plan on drinking as well tonight, but my drink of choice is Trantula Tequila since I am too cheap to fork over the 50 bucks for my bottle of Patron. :cry:

Do people like the taste of these wines or just drink em because they are cheap?

I'm not a huge fan of wine in general, but what I've noticed is that Rasperry Zin and the like are to wine as Bud Light is to beer. Light and drinkable, but not a favorite of true afficianados.

And just so no one thinks I'm being snotty - when I drink wine, it's something along the lines of Arbor Mist - cheap and sweet.
