He's my all-time favorite humor writer. The first birthday I celebrated while dating Jake (my 21st), he bough a Dave Barry book I didn't have, mailed it to him with a request for an autograph, and Dave sent it back! It says "To Kristin Anne, Happy Birthday. Dave Barry (aging fast)."

No, it's like, "Hey, I love this, but YOU" (general you) "have probably never seen/heard of it." Hence Wezas' confusion at Leloo's Harry Potter reference.

More people should watch the show The Office. It's one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

how the fuck did you get through fountainhead without ripping it to pieces? I hate Ayn Rand. It's incredibly too dry. I had the misfortune of picking it to do a summer paper thinking it'd be an easy read. Once I finished the paper, I tore the book up and burned it. It made a nice fire.

Rose Red was an OK movie, but The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer (the book) was 10000 times better. Also, I realize there are about a zillion re-tellings of the King Arthur legends, but if you've ever read any of MZB's books, then Merlin sucks giant gorilla dong in comparison.

My two favorite scary movies that didn't get enough recognition, IMO - Event Horizon and Stir of Echoes.
