I want to run gs and lich from dropbox. and other issues!

If I want to run GS and Lich from dropbox, do I just copy the Stormfront and Lich folders to dropbox? Anything else? And then how do I tell my computers to run it from dropbox?

The other thing is...I have 3 lich folders - lich, lich 4.4(?), and lich 4.6something. I guess I didn't delete the old folders as I upgraded. It's running the newest version, but it still gets my aliases and scripts and stuff from the first lich folder. It seems I just need to move the relevant info, but I'm afraid of moving something old that will affect the current version of lich (clearly I'm clueless:puzzled:). Can anyone advise?

Lich will not use other Lich folder unless you specifically tell it to (you didn't). When upgrading to Lich 4.6, you probably created a copy of your old Lich folder and put the new Lich program and scripts into it, like the instructions said to do. Then when you first ran Lich 4.6, it grabbed all the old settings from that folder and imported them into the new format. You don't need to copy any settings from your old Lich folder because you already did that when installing the newer Lich.

To be safe, you can just stick any old Lich stuff you find into a zip file to keep around as a backup.

As for running Lich from Dropbox, I don't recommend it. It seems to be a nice convenient method that many people use to play on multiple computers or just to avoid losing Lich when their computer crashes, but every once in a while someone will come up with a corrupted Lich database and lose all their settings, and those people are always playing out of Dropbox.
