Swiper No Swiping?

She appears to be a Sylvankind.
She appears to be very young and shorter than average. She has dark-rimmed hazel eyes and tanned skin. She has long, shiny copper red hair worn in two pigtails. She has a triangular face, a button nose and small pointed ears.
She has a curly silver ponytail.
She has some minor cuts and bruises on her left arm.
She is holding a Sukara alteration token in her right hand and a gold-traced azure blazestar crown in her left hand.
She is wearing a golden spidersilk knapsack decorated with a pair of rune-inscribed stones, a gold ring, a flat mithril thigh-strapped case, a closely tailored short doeskin skirt with a silver beadwork pouch stitched on at the hip, some bright blue gloves, some shapely moon-embossed leathers, a lightly boned doeskin corselette with dark leather laces, a plush sable fox coat adorned with a long fluffy tail hanging from the back, a bright blue bandana, a brass-buckled brushed leather pack, and a medic bag.

Rant:

- I saw this name the other day, and thought that perhaps it was along the vein of picklok or fieldhealer or another equally bad name. Until I saw her at an auction - then a merchant. She was swirling her tail around.

For those who don't know, Swiper is a cartoon character from Dora the Explorer. It's a fox that comes out when they are on their journey to "a destination" and tries to "swipe" things. So Dora will tell you to yell out 'Swiper no Swiping' 2x. This character just reminds me of Barney, or Popeye or Minnie Mouse.


Sukara offers Toy a simple bright blue mask with neatly cut eyeholes.

I'm gonna bet that this mask makes it to Swiper, what do you think? I saw another character making something else but not sure yet if it was being made for this cartoon character.

Really - when are we going to see Barney show up, or Superman, how about Spiderman? I guess I don't understand why people are so unimaginative that they have to create characters that are straight off of the TV.

Swiper IS a bad guy. I love that show, Nick Jr. is awesome! However that's very bad and a huge insult to Dora's show.

I'd be curious to see them, I've had very little to no interaction with her IG (only hear her talk on OOC) and I always assumed she had some valid (read: No fucking stupid) reason to be named "Toy".

All in the middle of a merchant event with 500 people in the room. That's just a vague example, she is far, far, far more annoying 'in person'.

Also, this is not a diss on the player of Toy, who I am sure is a very nice person and all. But damn your character annoys me. Just like I'm sure mine annoys others. /shrug

I had no trouble believing this... especially after reading many of your posts here.

Next year though, see if you can handle Sesame Street. They do letters and numbers.

Yep, police station shower. Also fun is beating someone with a bouquet of flowers you just picked up from the cemetary.

Damn! You're right! The funniest thing about doing that? Get the dildo, equip it and stand someplace where there is very little light and all you see is your character's silohuette (fucked up that spelling, I bet!). Man, it takes a heart of stone not to laugh at that.

Where has Toy said this? I specifically searched these forums to see if there was a thread about this character, there wasn't. So where exactly were you when you heard her say 9,000 times that she's Swiper and more importantly did you inform her that she's a dumb ass for making such a silly character?

I used to really think highly of Toy's empath - I felt she was very very well roleplayed, I just can't believe that she has gone to these unimaginative lengths with both Toy and Swiper.

So I guess that I am reel smert.

I assume they made her change her name or reroll. However, rerolling would be pointless, so I'm not sure what's going on with all that.
