Just hit 38, couple of questions...(FYI, I've got 380 MTP and 0 PTP. Also FYI, I haven't trained yet since I hit 38. Also, posting current skill set at bottom)

1. I've currently got 26 ranks climb/swim. What level critter CAN'T I hunt because of this? Should I go up to 30 ranks and call it quits for awhile? Should I drop to 20 ranks because technically I won't need more till a certain level? Just keep getting levels here and there until I get 50 ranks?

2. I use my wizard to do foraging bounties for himself and my couple of alts. He does a pretty good job, especially with Celerity, but he gets die rolls in the 80's where he doesn't find anything. I feel he could do better. He's currently 1x in Arcane Symbols just for the runestaff DS. If I could maintain 8 magic skill trainings per level but decrease my arcane symbols training to add Survival training in order to boost my foraging ability, would that be worth it and at what rank should I lower my arcane symbols training to and still be safe? He uses a lot of scrolls but nothing really in the 20th plus spell level area anyway.

3. He's got 20 ranks of Air Lore because I really like to use Tonis Bolt for knockdowns. Because I've got a Bard and an F2P Cleric that I also like to play, I may fixskill him in to more of an enchanter once the changes to 925 come out. That being said, if I do that, should I more or less say screw the air lore that way I can go ahead and get 75 ranks of MIU right away in order to enchant fusion? Tonis Bolt is definitely nice, but for now my bolt AS is 292 with spells and Col signs and he does fine with just 903 and 904. Of course if the 925 changes incorporate Water Lore like they've hinted at, I would probably want to add some of that as well. Bottom line on this though, I'd still want him to be a viable hunter while also being an adept enchanter. Currently he hunts up to level 42 stuff without any issue. I'd be fine if he had to move to level 35 +/- 1 or two levels to allow for these changes.

My build is fairly similar to yours except I have more AS and MIU per rank, something like 1.8 I think. I have 25 maybe 30 ranks in air lore, bigger disk and all that, oh, and I do not think I have as much swimming.

As far as enchanting, even doubling in MIU means you can pour pre-temper with no chance of failure, without any enhancive bonuses at 75. A wizard trained to enchant fusion above 5 and maybe 6 if you want to risk more than 3% would probably not be able to hunt well at that age. This is an educated guess though since Simu will not release the rolls for enchanting, but from what I have read seems pretty accurate and if you want to do a 7X fusion, capped so to create a build for enchanting at this point is sort of pointless since you can probably do a regular 6X right now with no issues and a 7X by like 45 trains and that is being a little conservative.

As for foraging, some things are harder to forage for than others so the end roll is not always indicative of what you might need more of. I have a rod with foraging embedded in it and if I use that obviously it helps a lot, but the fact is, rangers will always be a LOT better, compromising other skills for survival does not make a lot of sense to me.

Just my .02, and that is just about what it is worth.

It's 150 ranks of MIU to guarantee success with a ayveneh potion. 75 ranks will do it though, assuming that you're buying potions for all of your attempts from my store.

You're fine on climbing/swimming for a while... I recommend people stop at 50, because once you eventually reach the hunting ground that you want to go to, and you don't have the ranks... well, you're fucked. It's only a difference of two spell ranks to never worry about it again.

Harness Power is a bit overboard for now... I'd stop training a while and let it reduce down to 1x. It's pretty expensive for 2x, and you'll likely see higher return from spell training. Definitely put an additional rank in it to hit an even number of mana though (if you need it), so you'll maximize rounding as it reduces down to 1x.

Crap, totally missed all the HP, I was about 1.5 I think till 30 or so and then just stopped training until I got back to 1, mana has not seemed to be an issue since then unless things get really swarmy.
