So have accumulated a fair amount of bloodscrip from the dig and was thinking about getting something from the village before the event closes. I'm good for armor (found a nice set of brig in a T5 box). The bows don't really jump out at me as great for their cost (compared to like the realm flaring weapons/nerve staffs). Any recommendations?

If you don't have a good cloak yet, the 1100 scrip ones in The Cover Up are nice (scripted, maxlight, hold 150 instead of the usual 140). The Bowery has some useful temporary enhancives, though I have no idea how long they last before they crumble.

Alternatively, you can save the scrip for the next Duskruin run and see if anything interesting comes out then.

I picked up a couple of the:
Diamond-tipped Arrow Earring: +3 Perception Bonus, +3 Ranged Bonus, +3 Dex Bonus, CRUMBLY... Not Rechargable

For a few bloodscrip.... For their stats, they're dirt cheap... I dunno how much is really a 'fair amount' or what your current bow is compared to offerings/etc... value and desirability can be very subjective.

Maybe consider a nice pair of gloves too. UAC compliments archery very well and you may want to consider taking it up later on.

just using a 5x vanilla bow at the moment, have a cloak i've had altered and love so will try to work on it with merchants etc. How long do the crumbly enchansives usually last? May have a look at them.

Ever tried a heavy crossbow? The mechanical ones are pretty nice if you're sniping because you can cock them in stealth, they cock in 2 seconds (provided you have at least one bolt loaded) and fire in 2 seconds (4s total RT), and you can kneel in stealth for +30 AS with higher DF than a bow. They hold 5 bolts at a time if you get the higher-end ones, and you can qstrike both cocking and firing for 1s RTs for very little stamina cost as well.

not too keen on the crossbow, but what about the 6x ipantor bow, it worth the 4k bloodscrim?

The bow you speak up is +27 I had gotten it for my transition to ranged but decided to wait until my 50s instead so never really played with it

The 6x ipantor bow IMO is a great buy. Since its naturally sighted, you would need premium points to take a normal ipantor from +17 to +27. With cheap e-bladed arrows you would only be 3as from the max 10x. I bought one for my ranger

Awesome, went ahead and snagged it. No increase in direct AS (am a master fletcher) but im sure i'll notice harder hits after a few hunts (still digging too much to take it out for a proper spin!). What about the about the trinkets in the bowery:

The trinkets in this sack will give combat bonuses in the following ways:

Veniom-traced Ring - Ambush/Dodge/Agility
Arrow Earring - Perception/Ranged/Dexterity
Monir Band - Stalking and Hiding/Ambush/Strength
Arrowhead Pendant - Stalking and Hiding/PF/Strength
Braided Wristlet - PF/Dodge/Dexterityf

Whats all this mean/how do they work and is it worth getting?
