Was thinking of getting some motorized blinds for our skylights (you know the ones you operate with a remote control) and we had someone out to give us a free estimate and I'm wondering if the price they quoted seems kind of high.

The skylights are about 26x50 inches and each they said each blind would cost about 720 dollars, not including the remote or installation.

It's a double pleated honeycomb design. I've looked online and I've seen prices range anywhere from 450 dollars to about 700 dollars. Just wondering what other peoples' experiences have been.

WTF, I thought skylights went away in the '90s.

Brings back memories. Wake up from the sun shining in my eyes through the skylight, roll off my waterbed, do a line of coke before fluffing out my feathered hair and hitting the pier on my rollerblades.

While wearing jorts too.
