So decided to roll up a warrior for some fun and games. Wanting him to be a TWC bashlord with blunt weapons. This is what I've got so far from trawling through the wiki/forums. Any advice/tips would be welcome (currently only really played with ranged and THWs). Don't have much experiences with CMANs and the like yet.

Rolled up a Giantman (so many halflings and living in encumbrance town lately!)

Two Weapon Combat 2x
Armor Use 3x
Combat Maneuvers 2x
Blunt Weapons 2x
Multi Opponent Combat 1x
Physical Fitness 3x
Dodging 2x
Survival 1x
Perception 1x
Swimming 1x
Climbing 1x
First Aid 1x

Extras will save up for HP for societies.

Stats:
Strength (STR): 70 (25)
Constitution (CON): 70 (20)
Dexterity (DEX): 80 (10)
Agility (AGI): 70 (5)
Discipline (DIS): 80 (15)
Aura (AUR): 70 (5)
Logic (LOG): 80 (10)
Intuition (INT): 21 (-14)
Wisdom (WIS): 60 (5)
Influence (INF): 60 (10)

Also any advice regarding societies would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Training looks pretty standard. Giants aren't the best race for TWC because of low dex and agl bonuses but as long as you have fun with it that shouldn't matter. I'd likely never use twc/blunt combo just because there isn't any knockdown maneuver associated with it but then again I also used thw's for a long time which are almost in the same boat. Slight difference being with a "free" hand I had less of a penalty trying to tackle things.

Im not much of an active Cman user at the moment, cant really figure them out unless they have a passive. Yeah the giant is more for RP purposes than anything, seems to swing fast enough. What about societies? GoS?

Any of the societies are good. Voln or GoS are probably better because they have more utility for a warrior I think but any of them are fine.

I'd skew human based on Jeril's mention for a TWC. The strength bonus gap for AS is lower and dex/speed ranges make you faster. It offsets the other side weaknesses, which a lot of TWC go as elves.

Thanks for the tips. Ended up switching to human as you recommended Geijon. The difference between the two weapons was annoying me a fair bit and I imagine thatd only worsen with time. Spose I can still play the viking-type as a human!

None of the penalties involved with TWC as a giantman compare to the penalties of living life as a lesser race. Clean up your life, roll a giant.
