I submitted this yesterday via Sadie scroll. I fully expected Sadie to have issues. Funny thing is there was technical issue with the scroll that I had to ASSIST to get figured out. GM Flannihan answered the assist and got that part worked out, but as a QC'er, he took about 20 minutes with me to go through my idea to help me change things to give it a better chance of getting approved. I thought that was very cool of him to day. And without further ado...

an ancient crimson-runed deathaxe: The sheer size and weight of the deathaxe mark this as a tool meant for nothing but death. The dull blackness of the blade seems to absorb all light, lending credence to its dark nature. The ancient runes upon the blade, now stained a dark crimson, appear to have once been white, giving evidence that this deathaxe has wrought nothing but ruin for the countless souls it has met in battle.

No, it's a perfect maoral hafted steel handaxe. If it was a deathaxe to begin with, likely I wouldn't have even attempted the alter at risk of having the noun changed. There are actually two deathaxes in the same playershop, so I was hoping against hope, but alas, it's definitely not allowed.

Yes, first attempt tried to get it changed to deathaxe. Is there a way we can submit ideas to be approved nouns? I happen to think that an axe, by it's appearance, could certainly convey that it's meant for killing and not for chopping trees, thus making the noun deathaxe appropriate.

Those were unique deathweapons sold by someone a long time ago IIRC. Blank at first until you set it, then gains bonus properties for said target. Rats, trolls. golems, ect. The original bane weapons I suppose.
