I think you can just install ruby and copy over your lich folder.

Copy your lich stuff to a flash drive or upload it to Dropbox.
Worst case, zip it up and email it to yourself.
I'd keep a copy of your stuff on Dropbox anyway just so you won't have to worry about ever losing your GS configs.

What Methais said, I periodically e-mail my entire lich folder to myself just to have it somewhere that I can get it easy if it gets corrupted, the whole thing should be less than 10 meg so easy enough to e-mail.

That's a really good idea. I need to do that. Cause one day you know its going to happen.

Ya I have it, lich Folder, in my Backup processes monthly ish
So does the Character info, screen setups, scripts, macros, etc, That isnt in the lich folder is it?
I usually just export em all... before I move them. is there an easier way??? all my stuff saves to local not server.
Thanks all

I have all my SF settings saved to the server since I play on several different computers. Is there a reason not to save to the server? Maybe when we used dial-up but now there does not seem to be.

I've been wondering about this too. I know there is one script I use which doesn't seem to save into a file, ;gearinfo - and I'd hate to lose the information in there.
Is information like that all stored in one of the rest of those files somewhere that are just not obvious to me?

I just copy over the folders containing info to a flash drive. Drag and drop, yo.

I am by no means all that knowledgeable about lich, but I would bet that data is saved somewhere in the lich folder.

Use Dropbox, as suggested. Don't worry about moving your lich stuff ever again.
the SF settings to remote, last i checked, had an awful bug in the client that would periodically wipe all your stored data. It happened to me several times, after the 4th or 5th time I never used that again.
pretty sure gearinfo is using the default lich settings stuff, which dumps all the info into its mysqllite DB which should be in your */lich/data/lich.db3

Save everything.
The only problems I can see is if you are swapping old lich versions. I've heard there can be some issues.

Just checked gearinfo, and it does use the sqlite database.

Everything went smooth.. all done in 1st Try... since this is the 4th move in 2yrs
Copied my LICH folder, and located it in the same spot as my OLD computer
Now I did, as expected, had to export/Import all the Character info, Highlights, scripts, screens etc. Maybe its in the SIMU folder someplace, but didnt try and source it out. Just exported from old and imported into new
Easy Peasy

I've gotten lich to start with a new OS 64 bit, but infomon and autostart won't keep running which means the rest of my scripts don't work either... any suggestions?
* - Nevermind. I re-copied it and seems to be working again. I don't know.

Hey all
wdws 10 still seems to be laggin a lot. Mainly when I run 2-4 chars and the scroll screens just die... specialy like my cloaks when they have 300+ items (gems) in em
>;list
--- Lich: rnum, prettynum, pulsetimer, keepalive, crit_type_tracker Are what I have running
Typeahead=2
any ideas..
I have most SGE and Lich running emulate wdws 7.....
are we just screwed with wdw's 10???

Yes, you are. This is what you get for buying into the need to "upgrade". I'm still running XP with zero issues.

having dual systems is the key to making windows 10 work well
I purchased a wdws 7 download for $36 and was worth the $$$$
FYI... works fast now with 4 characters running in GS4 now... now lag, no scroll lag, or running lagg
Nice!!!
