In approximate order of importance:

For the people I've met in the last year.
Darkness.
That although my body decided it would play a few pranks on me, it hasn't stopped working altogether.

There are a lot of things I am thankful for. I would list them, but I am jet lagged, turkeyed out, bored, and after five minutes, extremely tired of this laptop keyboard and dial-up connection...

I guess I am thankful that I have a job, though I do wish that my boss would take early retirement or get fired or something. I'm thankful for the people I have in my life, and I am glad that I have my squishy to sleep with at night. :)

PS. It is fucking cold in Minnesota, and snowing. The snow isn't sticking around, but it's coming down. Why is it no matter where I go, shitty weather follows me... and then when I leave, it disappears? Grr. I'm definitely not thankful for that shit.

The thing I am most thankful for, is the innocent and unbiased love of my two children. No matter what mistakes I might have made in my day to day life, to them I walk on water. That, makes me thankful and makes me try harder each day.

I'm thankful for my family, for my health, for my ability to love, and for the fact that I am loved.

I'm also thankful for you guys. You make me laugh. At times, you make me cry, or even pull my hair out. Mostly, you make me happy. :)

I am thankful for my friends and family, the people I have become friends with here, and I am thankful for the fact that all the people I know over in Iraq are still alive and well.

I am also thankful for the family that took me in and treated me as one of their own today for thanksgiving, and my own family for understanding why I am not with them today and supporting me in what I decided to do no matter how difficult it is on them. I am thankful for the freedoms that I have, and I am thankful for those that have fought and are still fighting for those freedoms.

I'm thankful for...

...my beautiful daughter and the easy pregnancy she allowed me to have;

...my friends and family who have supported me through my pregnancy and through life in general;

...having a job that I tolerate and being able to do it "on my own";

...Jordyn's NY family who welcomed us with open arms when we went for a first visit so she could meet her other grandparents;

...my niece...for coming up and helping me with Jordyn (even though she really didn't want to) and though it ended on a sour note, I hope some day we will be able to be friends again;

...my brother, who has helped me pay for the best babysitter imaginable (see above);

and...the PC and 4D that keep me entertained at work and sometimes at home too
