Been gone 10 yrs. Several questions. Archer/brawler ranger still viable? Not many thought so when I did it and it was actually super easy but things change, so...Also, what's with these "fair elf" descriptions and such? Is there still Ta' Ardenai? I think I logged on last year to look around but I've really been gone since 2006 so someone old who knows then compared to now gimme the short "need to know"? Can I still kill people who look at me funny (or at least touch me, because that can technically be assault) in prime/plat or must I go to the other "shattered" place? What happened to the stuff in my shop that is probably resold now? Is my house still on teras? Do they still make glowbark stuff (this is very important, it's like crack to me)?

You could never kill people indiscriminately for touching you. You can, and indeed if you RP a chilly dude should, set your demeanor to cold and people will not be able to tough/hug/etc you.

I think brawl/archery ranger is still viable, albeit a very, very tight training path with no room for much tertiary stuff. Shattered is not what you want, unless you want to RP a ta'ardenai elf while people are busy shooting at you for no reason with giant dildos that shoot flaming arrows. Glowbark is still a material. Dunno about the shop. Annnnd yes Ta'Ardenai is a culture option for elves.

Hey welcome back. We're up to Gemstone VI now and it utilizes the state of the art Unreal 4 engine. It's a FPS shooter with a little bit of role playing. F2P and you can buy lots of cool shit with real $.

If you've been paying all along, your shop is probably still yours. Also, your house on Teras is probably still yours as well. I was gone for a long spell and when I came back everything was intact. In fact, I had a bunch of cash in my shop because stuff was still selling in my absence. In my case, I never cancelled my account, I just disappeared for several years, so I cannot say if you would have any different result if you had been completely inactive. I was really disappointed by glowbark, because it was a big deal when I converted pretty much everything I owned to get a 9x glowbark runestaff during the conversion. Now, it's fairly common.

You'll probably have a hard time killing people for touching you since the cap was raised to level 600 and most people are around 300ish now. Welcome back, n00b.

But nah, everything is pretty easy to pick up. Just go screw around in game and you'll figure it out pretty quick.

- I think you mean Ta'Illistim or Ta'Vaalor, Ta'Ardenai isn't in game.
