Hey friends

I am selling some stuff. Most things have sold for 100k - 6m in past PC sales.

Starting bid is 100K for each item.

Unfortunately real life has taken over and I am not around as much as I would like. I can usually meet in the mornings EST Mon - Fri, Sunday and mornings / evenings on Saturday.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Adding more stuff as I get a chance. Check back often!

20. a gold-trimmed cardinal spidersilk greatcloak, Unlocked ClimateWare (not feature hiding), max light, max deep, holds huge (140) ~50% weight reducing, from duskruin, costs 25k bloodscrips!

(25% on gswiki duskruin but my testing shows differently - see my test on thread)

The creator has also provided the following information:

The spidersilk greatcloak is a garment that changes messaging depending on the climate you're in, or whether it is raining/snowing outside. This item can be altered, it just needs to remain the basic essence of what the item is (no changing a cloak into a dress, but a cloak into a coat is fine).

The greatcloak is fully unlocked, but does not have the feature concealer ability. It has 12 verbs.
This is currently set to be a cloak of some sort.
The greatcloak doesn't have a hood or cowl, but could have one added.
The greatcloak currently has the following for custom fastenings: a crescent moon and crane pennaular wreathed in white leaves.
The greatcloak currently has default pockets, but it could have custom ones added by a skilled merchant. Options are a small pocket, a large pocket, small scabbards, weapon loops, large pouches, and small pouches.

You can tell that the greatcloak is as light as it can get and that its pockets could not possibly get any deeper.

>weigh greatcloak
The spidersilk greatcloak feels far lighter than you expect, as if its contents did not weigh as much as they would normally.
You carefully examine the spidersilk greatcloak and determine that the weight is about 14 pounds.
Roundtime: 5 sec.

This stick can be altered with a long description or a show, as long as the noun remains STICK, STAFF, or CANE.

This stick is currently: Tier 1 (off-the-shelf) and traps RUB, LEAN, PUSH, TAP.

You get no sense of whether or not the cane may be further lightened.

18. a rugged Khanshael battle coat reinforced with mithril boning, holds huge amount, max light, max deep

The creator has also provided the following information:
A rugged Khanshael battle coat reinforced with mithril boning cannot be detailed to indicate that it is completely skin-tight or that it isn't long enough to "billow up" in certain situations, but it is otherwise able to be altered, so long as it remains a cloak or cloak-like item.

The a rugged Khanshael battle coat reinforced with mithril boning can be customized in the following manner, where any talented merchant can customize the bolded sections. Note that customizations cannot use speech:

(RUB) You fiddle with the edges of your battle coat in a fit of nervous energy.

(STAND) You push back your battle coat and immediately shift into a relaxed stance.

(TOSS) With a flourish, you toss your battle coat over your shoulder, tilting your chin upward in a show of confidence.

(WAVE) You narrow your eyes, then suddenly step aggressively forward, letting your battle coat billow behind you.
(WAVE - target) You narrow your eyes, then suddenly step aggressively toward [target], your battle coat billowing out behind you.
(WAVE - sitting) Narrowing your eyes, you suddenly scoot aggressively sideways, dragging your battle coat along the ground/floor.
(standing and sitting utilize the same customization wording)

(BOW) Pulling up the edges of your battle coat, you execute a stately bow.

Currently, you are able to use RUB, STAND, TURN, NUDGE, TOSS, WAVE (with target), BOW, and SPIN. This coat may only be unlocked further within special, rare circumstances.

You can tell that the coat is as light as it can get and that its pockets could not possibly get any deeper.

Currently you are able to use OPEN, CLOSE, WAVE, BOW, WEAR, and REMOVE with the cloak. If you happen to have special fangs of a similar build, you'll find that things may look a bit fancier when you use the cloak. This cloak can be unlocked to a second tier by any willing Ebon Gate Festival merchant and by a handful of merchants outside of that festival.

22. a weathered black ash box, turns imbued amulets into a triangular black ash medallion, pretty neat

>analyze my box
You analyze your black ash box and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions.

The creator has also provided the following information:
This black ash box will work with imbued amulets. It will produce "a triangular black ash medallion".

A talented merchant could customize the appearance of the items produced from this black ash box, or change the appearance of the box itself. Not every merchant may be able to offer this.
Keep the following in mind when considering customization options:
First and foremost, the products produced MUST remain some sort of natural object. Tree bark amulets can not become vultite amulets.
The black ash box can not mass produce gems and other fancy materials, so no diamond-encrusted wands.
Simple is best. Wands and rods should remain some sort of non magical wood, and must remain wands, rods, or batons. Amulets should keep their non magical tree bark/wooden nature, and bracelets and anklets should always be some sort of natural grass or other suitable substance.

The merchant ALWAYS has the right to deny a request that he or she might feel is out of line.

Try as you might, you cannot get a good sense of whether or not the box's pockets could get any deeper, but you can tell that the box is as light as it can get.

35. a leather-bound prayer book, writeable book
You analyze your prayer book and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item has restrictions on changing the noun."

The creator has also provided the following information:
You get a strong sense that the book can be altered by any merchant, but the noun must be one of the following: book, tome, volume, ledger, journal, folio, spellbook, grimoire, prayerbook, scroll, or vellum. The way the book looks should make sense when it is both opened and closed.

Some merchants may be willing to put any writing you have on your book into a specific language, so that only those who understand that language can read the writing.

Currently you are able to use WRITE, OPEN, CLOSE, TURN, and READ with the prayer book. For writing, you will need to be holding a quill, though some paintsticks may also work for this.

The former. Also I think it reduces the weight by more than 25% since I am doing an actual check right now. I just got the 25% from duskruin gswiki but after testings its more like 50% weight reducing. See my log below:

(the tiara weighs 2 pounds)

>put tiar in my greatcloak
Your tiara won't fit in the spidersilk greatcloak.
>rem greatcloak
You slip out of the spidersilk greatcloak and fold it over your forearm, making sure it doesn't drag on the floor.
>weigh my greatcloak
The spidersilk greatcloak feels far lighter than you expect, as if its contents did not weigh as much as they would normally.
You carefully examine the spidersilk greatcloak and determine that the weight is about 58 pounds.
Roundtime: 5 sec.
R>;loresing all my greatcloak
--- Lich: loresing active.
[loresing]>speak bard
You are now speaking Guildspeak.
>
[loresing]>loresing my, please tell me and tell me true,;What might be your own value?
You sing in Guildspeak:

"My, please tell me and tell me true,
What might be your own value?"

Roundtime: 6 sec.

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the spidersilk greatcloak in your hand, and you learn something about it...

The first thing that strikes you about the greatcloak is the weight, which is about 58 pounds. In your best estimation, it's worth about 250,000 silvers.

R>
[loresing]>loresing my I am listening and it is all coming clear,;But your purpose is what I would most like to hear.
You sing in Guildspeak:

"My I am listening and it is all coming clear,
But your purpose is what I would most like to hear."

Roundtime: 9 sec.

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the spidersilk greatcloak in your hand, and you learn something about it...

You sense a faint aura of magic surrounding the greatcloak. From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the greatcloak is as a wearable container of some kind with a maximum interior capacity of 140 pounds with room for any number of items.

Just wanted to throw this out there. I did the 5.5m buyout on the auto skin bundler and he gave me 500k back because Roblar is/was selling one for 500k less at 5m flat. I didn't ask him to, and I wouldn't have asked if I'd noticed, but he volunteered it himself.

By this point everyone SHOULD know what kind of merchant etam is, but I figured I'd throw this out there just in case anyone still doesn't know how fair he is.

Can you confirm the 50% weight reduction? Thanks!

I did a test on the thread. the cloak holds 140. i filled it up to the max and after weighing and singing to it, it weighted 58 pounds

i dont want to doubt the duskruin wiki page and i know the loresing is funky so for sake of my test and gswiki, i can only state what i know...

Does that even make sense? 140 / 2 = 70 + 14 = 84.

yeah, dont know, not sure to be honest how weight reducing works besides my test and what i read at the gswiki page.

no worries if you want to back out of the bid. i weighed and loresung to it and it's definitely reduced weight but cant 100% confirm what it is for sure..

Yeah I'll have to back out until confirmed. I saw the 50% in bold but dont recall seeing the 25% wiki entry below it.

its 50% of weight reduced INSIDE. it shouldnt affect the base weight.

For those curious on the weight reducing greatcloak. i did some research on other 25% weigh reducing items for sale in past few years. Adding this as reference when I sell it after the GM confirmation...

25% weight reducing examples:

http://forum.gsplayers.com/archive/index.php/t-83468.html

http://forum.gsplayers.com/archive/index.php/t-89737.html

I did some more testing on this greatcloak filling it up to max capacity and testing the weight. the greatcloak weighs ~6. the greatcloak's max capacity holds 140 (found out from loresinging). The weight of the greatcloak after filling it to max capacity ranged from 58 - 64 using the weigh verb and loresinging.

brought this to the GM and she agreed its a bit funky and doesnt reflect 25% weight reducing but much more. She duplicated the cloak and will email me more about it once she looks closer into it.

Oh well. most likely a bug ( to my benefit!) but it may be changed now.

Does lore singing actually give an exact weight? Aren't there ranges? Can you post logs of testing? Curious how you are actually testing weighs. Did you actually put 140 daggers in the cloak?

Just to follow up. Helsfelds thread is accurate to what I was saying. 140/2 = 70+6 (weight of container)

Roblars post is slightly misleading, he posts "So at full capacity, it should be 45 lbs weightless open or closed." but what he meant to say was that it should be 180-45=135 + 6.
