Which weapon would you choose?

I'm torn between two weapons to make my character's primary...which would you choose?

10x claidhmore

or

9x perfect forged, MCW, T5, rot flared, blink (e-wave) greatsword?

Either way.. sell the Claid... use the $ to buy premium points to take the Greatsword to 10x and use that. Then have a shitload of coins left over.

Teras weaponshop still sells oldstyle claids right? That'd give you at least one place to start if you wanted old versus new. Claid sounds kinda boring though, you didn't even get it ensorcelled. All the flares and spells going off from the greatsword make it far more fun. Unless you're a paladin that means this is a weapon for a sunfister/col. If sunfist, then Excw with the sigils is plenty

Unquestionably the greatsword. A capped warrior is probably swinging with enough AS to make the phantom weighting from the claid far less useful, and the perfect forging/suprior DF on the greatsword more useful. Factor in all the flares and stuff, and the greatsword just seems like more fun to me. Either one is baller status.

Stop talking shit about 10m 10x Claids.. that's absurd. The greatsword with it's additions is by far the better weapon.

Mechanically speaking that claid is going to be your better weapon. Fun wise that greatsword is better. Those extra 20 points of weighting are going to make a nice difference even for a warrior. I can crush through a lot of things but there are also some that I can't. Fetish masters have silly high DS and so do some seers/adepts in OTF who have WoF/wizards shield up.
