Honestly, the fact that they won and I didn't really upsets me, I guess it shouldn't, but it does.


Also, I did the appeals thing, and I had 1 rpa in October, but by the time he checked in November I'd already had 6. Oh well.

Yeah, it was like a raffle and you got a ticket for each RPA you got, so if I'd gotten my November RPAs in there I would have had a 600% better chance of winning. That's not what irks me, it's just complete 100% jackasses like them who have never roleplayed in this game getting positive reinforcement of their behavior.

I would rather they won it than sappy merchant/GM whores that magically begin dramatically roleplay whenever there is a chance that someone with GM status may be watching.

Sadly, those types won as well.

It wasnt a prize for roleplaying anyway. It was a draw where the tickets to enter the draw were given out on attendance at a number of particular GM-attended events. Why would it worry you that you didnt win a raffle?

Well, I'm certainly not the second type. I probably sounded more bitter than I actually am. I mean, I don't have Snowdrop level roleplay skills, so that's one thing I am bitter about.

They were rewarded for attending roleplaying events...that was the idea of the prizes, afaik

You did sound bitter in the first post.
I would agree that Coinner and Solmarar roleplay as much as the tree in vipershroud and that as a reward for roleplaying, that whole thing was a parody.
I couldnt really care less that they got a couple of useless(ish) items as prizes from that draw.
My feelings when I saw the prizewinners was more along the lines of it being the same old suspects that were sucking up to the GMs at every opportunity, that once again featured amongst the prizewinners.
At least with the terrible twins winning stuff, it makes it clear that it wasnt just a case of GMs favourites getting picked.

What would you define as Snowdrop level RP skills, and how is my RPing an issue in this discussion?

Wow, didn't know that I sucked up to GMs. I'm just an RP junkie. Only thing I do differently when I think a GM might be watching is use a few more mychars so the GM can know what's going on.

Sides, a well-placed mychar got GM Thanthyl to snort Dr. Pepper. It's worth it. ;)

Lol Flintsone. I too was a bit bitter, Drew. As for being a GM, attention whoring whatever...get the fuck off. People can spend their time in GS doing pretty much what they like these days. I had a blast at the few events I went too, and would have liked to have gone to more had time permitted.

I was gonna GM whore but then I realized that meant I would have to subvert alot of my energy from being just a regular whore, and that's just not fair to the ladies out there. I have a civil and moral obligation to keep on whoring it up until every woman (between 18<if the cops ask> and 60 who isn't totally disgusting) has been properly exposed to the all mighty, life changing, spirit lifting experience that is the Anticwhore.

Uh... no? My best equipment is a 5x runestaff (that I got enchanted because I won a raffle) and I rarely get RPAs.
