Intercession Question

Just trying to make sure I understand the wiki.

In order to CONVERT to a deity other than the one that the creator of the gem is attuned to, I need to have two other clerics of the target pantheon cast Holy Receptacle on it, per the wiki.

What I'd like to know is whether those other two clerics need to have the requisite lores for an intercession, or literally just need to know and be able to cast the base model, vanilla 335.

Not sure but my guess would be that they both need to have the lores to do it.

Though as I've stated before, I don't know that you really need all that work...

Yeah, I know what you've told me in the past - I tried it with an Arachne cleric and couldn't get it to take anywhere other than Arachne's shrine though, so I'm thinking it might be working as intended now.

I've been reading about the Arkati whose cleric made my current gem though - it arguably fits in better with the direction my paladin is heading than the one I thought I wanted, so I might not need other clerics anyway.

Did you try with just that one who made the gem? I feel bad you need to bribe people - but I guess that's what religion's all about.😉

I guess I could see you changing from good to bad Deities. I haven't tried that yet with anyone, it was only from a good to good Deity.

Decided to to verify once and for all whether your experiences were a fluke. Gem was made by a cleric of Marlu:

Working as intended. But I was going to roll with Marlu for now anyway, turns out he fits better than my original plan did.

(As an aside, I was in the right spot - Luukos and Marlu have their temples in adjoining rooms in Sol)

They need the required lore. I did this a few weeks ago and had a cleric that didn't have the lore try with no success.
