George Zimmerman auctions gun that killed Trayvon Martin

The gun used to kill Trayvon Martin, a young black teenager who was shot in Florida, is being auctioned at a starting bid of $5,000.

George Zimmerman, the man accused of killing Martin in 2012, has listed the Kel-Tec PF-9 9mm on a gun broker website.

"The firearm for sale is the firearm that was used to defend my life and end the brutal attack from Trayvon Martin on 2/26/2012," says Zimmerman, in the description.

The Trayvon Martin case sparked outrage nationwide when Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer, shot and killed 17-year-old Martin in Sanford, FL.

Well as someone who is for the second amendment and gun rights in general, I think this guy in what he is doing (while within his rights) is a flaming pile of human excrement and is automatically in the running for the 2016 troll of the year.

Given how lucky he was to not be convicted, he should like any smart individual just fade in to the darkness, because this will piss a ton of people off and pissed off people sometimes have nothing better to do and will look at him with heavy scrutiny and catch him in some other capacity of his life where he could be doing something shady and bring his ass down for it.

I think Abraham Lincoln was quite a bit more prominent than Trayvon Martin. The death of Lincoln had major repercussions on Reconstruction as well..... There is just no comparison at all.

No gun violence has been a big part of the Obama administration, not just trayvon martin. allow ten years of recency to fade away and then ask ten people on the street who trayvon Martin is and you will understand the difference between the significance of selling that gun versus the significance of Lincoln. One is etched in history the other sadly may not be remembered in but a few short years.
