Tyrinius asks, "Now... perhaps someone can bless?"
>
Tyrinius says, "Just a normal steel bless."

Speaking to Tyrinius, Medrak says, "If you tell me your name, I will bless your weapon."

Speaking to Medrak, Tyrinius says, "Mah name's Tyrinius."

Medrak nods.

Medrak moves to stand in front of Tyrinius.

Medrak raises a hand while murmuring a soft orison...
>
Medrak recites:

"Let Lorminstra's will be brought into Tyrinius's weapon
If Lorminstra exists, and has will, and wishes her will brought into it.
Otherwise, never mind. Amen."

>
Medrak gestures at Tyrinius.
A searing white light enfolds Tyrinius's flail for a moment and then appears to become incorporated into it.[/quote]

I'm all in favor of Roleplay - but at what point is a bless routine considered screen scroll?

I've seen this guy in action before, he thinks he's hilarious.

Unrelated but amusing and I didn't want to make another thread:

You gesture while calling upon the lesser spirits to aid you with the Dispel Invisibility spell...
Your spell is ready.
>cast
You gesture.
You discover Ghrumbles!
Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.
>stance defensive

Ghrumbles traces a series of glowing runes while chanting an arcane phrase...
Ghrumbles gestures.
Ghrumbles blurs before your eyes.
>stance defensive
>
Cast Round Time in effect: Setting stance to guarded.
>stance defensive
You are now in a defensive stance.
>
Ghrumbles suddenly looks drained!
>
Ghrumbles makes a quick gesture while calling upon the powers of the elements...
Ghrumbles gestures.
A silvery luminescence surrounds Ghrumbles.
>
Ghrumbles recites a series of mystical phrases while raising his hands...
Ghrumbles gestures.
Ghrumbles looks considerably more imposing.
>
Ghrumbles makes a quick gesture while calling upon the powers of the elements...
Ghrumbles gestures.
His body is surrounded by a dim dancing aura.

Ghrumbles makes a quick gesture while calling upon the powers of the elements...
Ghrumbles gestures.
Ghrumbles stands taller, as if bolstered with a sense of confidence.
>
Ghrumbles traces a series of glowing runes while chanting an arcane phrase...
Ghrumbles gestures.
A luminescent aura begins to swirl around Ghrumbles.

5 minutes passes and he just walks out.

Heaven forbid someone attempts to create some character.

I've never understood peoples obessions with having to know who is in the same room as you invisible. They are invisible for a reason..leave them alone?

I think that was awesome. I really dont see how interaction is screen scroll.

The more I think about it the better I think it was. The guy did not abuse smile or act. He used what verbs are available to him.

again I say it was awesome

Medrak is great. The player plays him as an agnostic priest inspired from a book character (don't ask, I forgot who). I do think his blessings and prayers are super funny and I don't think 3 lines for a bless was too much. :)

At times when it's really busy it can be quite annoying. I also want to say that this is the same person that used to have about an 8 line recite before he would cast at a zombie. Im all for RP while hunting, but i dont think it's realistic to say 30 seconds worth of crap while a zombie is gnawing on you.

invisible wizards who do not show response when pulled from hiding nor when they are punished by the poobah and who continue to spellup and then leave after they are pulled from hiding were most likely script-hunting and tried their best to hide it by being invisible.

LEBVE THEM ALONE!!!!!11!!!11

Actually, sometimes I go invisible with my Sorcerer because I'm afk for a minute or two and will come back to see that someone revealed my invisibility. It's annoying but what can you do. Some people just have to know who's around them.

I only cast disspell invisibility if someone is repeatedly casting while invisible. For some reason it makes me nervous.

A vengeful dark elf or something. :O

If they are repeatedly casting, thats a good sign. I get nervous when you can hear them prep a spell and then nothing...I'm flinching, waiting for the badness...

And I love Medrak. He is great.
