Does anyone know if there's a difference between the default version of smite and the Liabo/light converted version of smite when used against undead?

Does anyone know if there's a difference between the default version of smite and the Liabo/light converted version of smite when used against undead?

I don't believe there is. Default smite has infusions, instant death, the same mana cost and damage factors vs undead as converted. I think the only difference is that converted smite unlocks 302 vs living with its increased mana cost and lower damage factor.
