I haven't posted here alot, but I do read often. I know some of you disliked some of my decisions as a GM, on the other hand some of my best friends in the game post here alot. With that being said I have to congratulate Kranar on the PC boards, it really is a IMO a good thing for GS.
As far as the farewell, I am heading overseas for a 12-18 months and although I will have internet access, I do not know how much if any access to the game I will have. Hope everyone stays safe.

Regardless of anyone's views on your acts as a GM, I certainly hope they wish you well on your assignment overseas. Come home safe.

You posted on the officials that you were being posted you-know-where. I hope you get home safe Stealth, so good luck.
On a different note, I thought it was sacrilidge for GMs or anyone with GM or GH ambitions to post here.

I will be deploying with my reserve unit, and I dunno...I suppose they can yell at me for posting, but since I don't plan to discuss GS matters...I see no harm.
Stealth
Good luck to you and keep your eyes open out there. Always a wake-up call seeing another reservist going overseas, can happen at anytime.

Heh, well I think its cool you posted. I kind of find the idea that GMs DON'T read these boards as ludicrous as much as them not being on Psinet.

Best of luck Stealth.
Dear Stealth,
Thank you for the awesome, lightning quick repsonses to reports I have made. Now warriors are really going to lose some power in the advancement department, but oh well.
Good luck with deployment.

The infantry unit replacing my unit is from there. It would be cool and suck really bad depeding on your point of view if Stealth's unit was replacing mine.

He's not from Vermont.
TOJ, you pay for inet access? The only place I've seen that charges exclusively is Kuwait. I dunno maybe its different in different places. When you find out what region you're going to let us know Stealth, I'll try and give you a run down. I've been to most of the major areas of Iraq.
I sincerely doubt you'll have any time to play GS. In most of the places I've been Inet access is usually pretty crowded and theres a big line for a minimal amount of time on. The only reason I even have time to check in on things here is because the weather is real shitty and no one wanted to trek the mile and a half to the MWR.

Yut! I'm glad you're doing it, doesn't matter which branch (of course we all have our opinions as to which Marines is Marines the Marines best Marines) you decided to serve under. Stay as safe as possible and remember to never allow an idiot to be in the same fighting hole as you, they might get you killed!
