I just sat here while reading this board and waiting for an email from my (soon to be ex) boss and watched From Justin to Kelly on HBO. I don't deserve sushi tonight.

LOL. I was actually hoping I could trick X into telling me to kill myself so he could earn some more demerit points. If I have to divulge viewing choices better left un-discussed to do that, so be it.

I had sushi for lunch only instead of fish it was chicken and instead of raw it was shredded, cooked, and wrapped in a flour tortilla.

Sorry to burst your bubble but sushi...specifically the ones with raw fish...are not recommended while pregnant OR breastfeeding. I'm dying here because it's been over a year since I've had any raw fish sushi. Eat all you can now before you get pregnant.

Trust me...sacrificing sushi to have a baby is well worth it...it's a love like you can't even imagine.

The first place I'm going once I'm done breastfeeding is to my favorite Japanese restaurant to have a sushi-fest.

Sushi is so good. I went to this one place in Southern California. It was this small little scumbag looking Sushi bar. It was so fucking good that I dropped way too much money on it. I never had sushi up to that quality (though I do have something close nearby!)

If you're asking me...I caved the other day and had some salmon and yellow tail sushi. :drool: My parents and I went to my favorite Japanese restaurant and I couldn't resist. :P Oh, and I had some poke yesterday...which is a Hawaiian appetizer made with raw tuna.

holy hard hornballs, yellow tail is good. And congratulations on breaking the... sushi-fast? I never heard about post-pregnancy sushi related disorders (PPSRD.)

I just heard it's not good cuz parasites could get in the milk/fetus so better safe than sorry I guess.

I figured if I splurged a teeny bit it wouldn't hurt. I used to eat the stuff 2 or 3 times a week. That was the first time I had sushi since I found out I was pregnant. It was soooooooooooo good!!!

And I haven't had sushi for like two weeks now. We went out to dinner instead at the Melting Pot, which I was told recently was a chain so maybe you've heard of it. It's an all-fondue restaurant. So good.
